The Sounds of Silence Bring Sadness !

Once upon a time in a home at 1403 Overo Circle there was laughter, doors slamming, kids yelling, parents talking, phones ringing, tv's blaring, dogs barking. Once upon a time a family lived here, then the kids grew up one moved to the other side of the circle, the other one got killed and then the home on Overo Circle got quieter.

Then Glio moved in and life became even quieter still. The grandkids don't yell as loud, the adults talk quieter, the phones don't ring as often as you would think. The dogs still bark and the tv's aren't on so much. Once upon a time the sounds of silence bring sadness.

When GLIO moved in time slowed down while the disease sped up. She quickly robs the Father of the House of his dignity, his independence and his ability to think and reason. She becomes the head of the house.

She keeps friends and family from stopping by or calling for fear of what they might see. Some would think she is contagious, but she is only fatal. She keeps the phone from ringing for fear of what family and friends might hear, but she is only robbing the Father of the House of his ability to comprehend not the callers.
She robs the able minded, strong bodied, person from reaching out to a family in pain because she controls them with fear of failure or rejection.

GLIO kills not only the person with the disease, but it will kill your chance to see, speak, hear or touch your friend, family member or loved one if you do not reach out soon. Once the opportunity is lost, it is gone until you receive GOD's
Grace to see them again in Heaven.

It's kinda like accepting Christ as your Savior don't wait till tomorrow, cause tomorrow may never come.

A home holds a family, we don't think of it as a beating heart, but it is. It's that comfort at the end of the day, the refuge in a storm, the warm fuzzy place that we want to be when the world is cruel. As much as she wants to comfort you now, she just can't meet the challenge. God's arms will be your haven Jannie.
