Valentine's Day - My First !

There have been so many first with D. To many to remember, to many to forget. The first dozen roses, the first floating heart necklace that had a small diamond in it, the first romantic dinner, the first kiss(that I will never forget) I still get tingling thinking about it. The first tears he made me cry in pain and anger, the first tears I cried in forgiveness, the first laugh I remember it like yesterday. The first poem he gave me just last year, I cherish it and cry over it. The first of so many, many wonderful seconds, moments of a beautiful life together.

Today is another first, my first Valentine's Day without his physicial presence next to me. We had long gotten past the need to buy flashy gifts, expensive presents and do excessive things for one another on Valentine's Day. We have a love that did things for each other everyday not just on a Hallmark Day. So today this first of many first do I miss D, YES but not because it's Valentine's Day..... I miss D because I always miss D - because I love D more today than the day I met him - Happy Day my sweet Baboo !!!
