Train Wrecks

Train Wrecks - Are You To Busy Looking At Someone Else's to Recognize Your Own
Have you ever been in a situation or around someone and you knew in your heart of hearts you were watching a slow moving train wreck or a drowning that you couldn't stop?

It's like a bad silent movie, your standing on the sidelines your trying to run, your feet are stuck in the sand your trying to run to reach them to pull them to safety and the faster you try to run the deeper your feet get bogged down and the further from the safety of the shore they go.  There's no Bo Derek or Dudley Moore cute scene here, it's all tragedy no way around it, no happy ending, you can see the drowning scene, the crash and burn, the slip on the banana peel...it's bound to happen you just don't know when....STOP, FLASHING RED LIGHT....BELLS GOING OFF ....STOP....STOP....

What happens, they continue to drive towards those train tracks, they continue to swim in the shark infested, rolling tide waves.....what do you do...

well.....that is where I am at this moment...I don't think I am the one drowning or heading towards the train crash, but I see it in someone I know and loves life and I am fearful for them...I have been in great conversations with GOD concerning this matter, there was a time very recently where I thought, well here is what I am going to do about this.....yada yada yada... D used to say "Tell GOD what you are going to do and watch HIM smile."

GOD said to me "Continue to pray, allow me to handle the situation if you have faith like you profess to do, never cease to pray about this situation.  If you don't take your eyes off this train wreck you may not see the flashing lights when the train is coming towards you."

So I give this to GOD, I will pray earnestly without fail and know that if and when GOD desires for me to speak to this matter HE will open the door, walk me through it and give me the words.  Until them, I will be watching for those flashing lights, warning bells and proceed cautiously in the arms of HIS protection always.
