God's Blessings on Today

Dear God,
It's 2 a.m. in the morning, another sleepless night has come and here I am sitting at the computer praying for your guidance once again. The days seem to go on forever and the nights well the nights are just there. I am not afraid, scared or lonely, you are always with me, you never leave my side, you have given me the best soulmate to rest next to, but rest is just not something that comes to us..we toss, we turn, and pray.

Pray for this broken heart to heal, pray for some comfort from the pain that engulfs our very souls, pray for your guidance that is always present, pray with thanksgiving that we are safe in your arms. Pray for peace and understanding. Pray that others can't see the brokeness in our spirit when they look in our eyes. Pray for compassion and love for those around us that just don't know how to deal with us on this journey we are taking. Pray that your light is still visible for others to see because we are so sad. Pray with thanksgiving for all the miracles and blessings you have created out of this tragedy.

Sometimes we just cry and hold each other unsure if the brokeness will ever heal, but always sure that we will all be joined together again in heaven someday when you call us home too.

When the sun comes up tomorrow, I will greet the day with thanksgiving and gladness because it is a day that you have made and given to me to make a difference in. I will do my best for you today Lord, because you always give your best to me. You hold me when I am sad, you comfort me when I am lonely, you laugh with me when I am happy and you cry with me when my heart is broken. You are the great Heavenly Father and I know that I will see Bo again in Heaven with Lori but for today I am to continue my journey here on earth for you.

Thank you Lord for giving me the breath of life to start today, even though my heart is heavy and empty, I thank you for the fullness of the love of those around me. I thank you for the beauty of the promise of today, for the glory of all that you have created, for the lives of those you put in my path today..help me to make the difference you want me to make in their lives. Please bring comform, strength and peace to those around me as we continue to deal with our broken hearts here on earth. Hear the crys of your children Lord and heal their hearts, souls and broken bodies as we need your healing touch on all our lives today.
