Sing and shout, make a joyful noise unto the LORD ! King David did it, my beautiful daughter Jill and I actually turned green with excitment doing it tonight. It WAS AWESOME !!! I can not tell you how exciting it was, how spirtually uplifting, how fulfilling and how earbursting this concert "Listen to the Sound" is. It is AMAZING !!!
Three bands come together in the chapel at JBU and Rock and Roll to their hearts content, they witness for the LORD, they praise, worship and rock it OUT !!!! Whoo Hooo !
We were singing, dancing, shouting, crying, laughing and just feeling the joy of being in the LORD's house. Anthem Lights, Revive and Backdoor 429, amazing GOD gifted, talented, young men from all walks of life just jamming for hours. Jill and I couldn't quit smiling from the joy of being together and experiencing GOD to HIS fullest.
CHRISTIANS shouldn't be passive - We need to be ALIVE !!! WE HAVE TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT JESUS IS ALIVE AND WELL ! ROCK ON WITH GOD ! TURN YOUR RADIO UP, DANCE IN THE AISLE, LIFT YOUR HANDS AND PRAISE GOD !
If King David wasn't embarrassed to sing, shout and dance to the LORD, why should you be? Think about it - what kind of spirit do you have? What kind of music do you listen to? If rock and roll is your kind, turn off that crazy stuff with the negative lyrics, the bad words and turn on some Revive, Anthem Lights or Backdoor 429 - Get right with GOD and Rock On !
