Being Tata Always Beats Osama

Today being Tata takes precedence over everything else going on in my life and the world - never realized how true that statement was until late tonight. Picked the boys up early afternoon and off to the mall in Rogers for a trip to the Candy Craze store just for fun. Then on to PF Chang for some good food. In the rain, the cold and the damp, every time it's and adventure. No matter what or where we go we can get into trouble. The boys either get along or fight. I don't care I just like having them with me.

After the Rogers trip we decided to spend some of that cheap gas and go to Barnes and Noble for a book. Off to the store we go, another adventure, what do we do run in the rain, walk in the rain, jump in the puddles or jump over the puddles. Didn't really matter we just ended up wet anyway.

These kids are soooo much fun. Ian has an imagination much like mine and much like Bo's was. Give the kid a roll of duct tape and look at what he did. He taped himself up and told Carter Dean that the "chicken robbers" had snuck in the house and robbed him.

Carter Dean is more serious, his imagination knows limits and boundries. He takes things very literal. Even though he agreed to play captive, he thought the duct tape would actually pull his tongue out - not to happy about being taped to his big brother either.

Our playtime is interrupted by a text message from Jill that reads "I bet Bo is smiling in Heaven hearing this news!" my response - "What news?" - "Osama bin laden is dead" she replied.

WOW ! as I said being Tata Takes Precedence - I totally shut the world out and focused on these precious boys and our time together never realizing so much was going on in the big world out there.

Tonight I thank GOD that Bo is in Heaven where he knew he wasn't going to be met by a thousand virgins, he knew he would be met by his one and only JESUS - I thank GOD that Bo and D don't have to deal with anymore of the pain and suffering that came as a direct result of this horrible man who was killed today. Tonight I thank GOD that my beautiful grandsons were here with me tonight having fun, embracing life and enjoying the freedoms that their favorite Uncle Bo fought so proud and honorably for. Tonight I thank GOD for all our service men and women. Tonight I THANK GOD !!
