Monday Magic

Today was Magic Monday! Some Mondays are for bill paying, lawn mowing, grocery shopping, resting, laundry, errands and other not to fun things, but today was for MAGIC.

Jill called early this morning the day I was goin to sleep late. Looks like that is not about to happen. Ian is sick and needs a place to stay for the day. Without hesitation I said "bring him on over", Carter Dean comes in and hides from his Momma cause he want's to stay with his Tata too. Needless to say Monday has turned into a day of Tata and her two boys.

Oh, how I love these boys. That's where the magic comes in. No matter how sick they are, they can brighten any day. The magic of a smile, a kiss, their hugs and the sound of their laughter is truly magic. So today was Monday Magic at the Bibb house.

Ian rested until he began to feel better, Carter Dean sat in my lap and let me hold him all the while he was really holding me. We laughed and teased on another. We took naps together, they helped me sort pennies and laundry. They picked on me and picked at me.

It is the simplicity of their love that creates a magic circle around their beautiful souls and hearts. It is a blessing from GOD that makes it seem like magic. It is unconditional, without warning, without failure one of the greatest gifts from HEAVEN.

It is the times that I spend with these magical little creatures that the pain I miss D is so much stronger. He too loved these little fellers with a passion and depth that was never ending. When the pain becomes so intense and I think that I will burst from the shear torture of it, one of these little ones wraps their arms around my neck, kisses me on the face and tells me "LOVE YOU TO HEAVEN AND BACK TATA"

Thank you GOD for the magicial sweetness and innocence of being loved by the children, thank you for sharing D with them and allowing us to keep his memory alive and well. Thank you for a Magic Monday where the illusion of everything we saw, touched, tasted and felt was pure magic. Thank you my FATHER for the magic of MONDAY !
