DisneyWorld here we come !

It was the summer before we were married and rather than taking a honeymoon on our own after we got married, we decided to take our babies on a family honeymoon. That was 25 years ago this summer, the kids were 7 years old, babies, lost in the joys of youth and the adventures of a lifetime. We shared a room, Bo slept with me, Jill with D and our amazing honeymoon began.

We had one of the most amazing times of our lives together, we bonded tighter and tighter as the family unit we were becoming continue to form. You can see by the looks on our babies faces how happy they were to be bound together in love and laughter. That never changed over the years. They were always number one with each other, Bo and Jill championed for each other, fought each other and for each other. They cried for one another and shared secrets still only known by the two of them. They had dreams and plans for the future, they inspired and prayed for the best for each other. They and only they loved each other when others didn't or couldn't.

Twins by marriage we always said, they always wanted the same things, the same size pumpkins, the same amount of food, the same cookies, they shared the same inside jokes and off color remarks that made sense to only them. They both wanted D's attention more than anything and strived to please him the most.

DisneyWorld breakfast with their favorite characters,
the Epcot center, a few rides, lots of walking, lots of memories, Sea World, on and on....what a blessing it was and the memories come rushing back as I am reminded that tomorrow I will turn the page on a new chapter of new memories with my baby and her babies. It has been 25 years, it is a time to celebrate and rejoice at the blessings of being able to go with the family.

Although, my heart is sad that D and Bo will not be physicallyt be a part of this adventure, in truth I will carry them with me every step that I take.
Sun squints and all !!!!!!
