Monday, the second day of the week- don't know how it will compare with the blessings of last week but gonna give GOD a shot. HE never ever fails me. HE reminded me over and over how blessed HE has made my life, how cherished I am and how many people I have to count among my blessings.
From the smile and laughter of my daugther and our inside jokes, to the faces of Jeremy and the boys when they see me pull in the driveway when they are out on the four-wheeler. Life is good if you take time to breathe, pause and embrace the moment. The daily phone calls with my baby sister, Daniel, my church family and then come the surprises my new family's, the Patriot Guard Riders,the CVMA and Wingman.
These people have just thrown their arms opened wide, wrapped their arms around me and made me theirs. They said "let's love her, care for her, cherish her and make sure that her emotional needs are met." They feed my soul just as my other family does, they fill a place in my heart that I didn't know needed to be filled before I met them.
They are as unique as the sunrises, as beautiful as the sunsets. Their spirits are as wild an untamed as a wild mustang and as gentle as a new baby lamb. They love with the passion of Christ and each and every one would lay down their lives for anyone of the other and their family. Their patriotism is without question one of the strengths of their characters. They believe in the value of caring for our elderly, teaching our young, loving one another, honoring the living and respecting the dead.
Thank you LORD for gifting me these amazing men, women and children into my life. "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." Proverbs 27:17
