Does GOD really answer prayers?

Do you ever find yourself asking does GOD hear me? Does HE really listen to me? Does HE know me? Do I matter? Oh, yes you do and HE does. Sometimes in the silence HE speaks the loudest. Today was one of the longest, busiest, fullest days we have had in a long time. It started early and with great anticipation we waited and waited for doors to be opened, treatment plans to be discussed and medications to be offered. Prayers lifted up in the middle of a sleepless night were answered quietly, swiftly and without fanfare.

Rooms were made available for a sick man to rest his weary head, medication was received without side effects, prescriptions were renewed without insurance company involvement, iv's started without problems and peace, quiet,gentle peace for hours while D received his new life changing medications. A trip home all prayers answered.

More prayers answered, a friend arrives at the door with flowers, candy and the promise of friendship. Another friend offers to sit one day a week so you can keep working, a daughter offers to take a day a week off work and stay with her Dad so you can keep working. More prayers are answered.

Then the best prayer of all, your husband, your wonderful husband wakes from hours of peaceful sleep and he says "I feel so much better!"

Yes, my friends, GOD hears you in the quiet of the night, in the early morning hours, in the shower, in the car - wherever you are HE is and HE hears and answers - all you have to do is listen. HE speaks, HE answers and HE loves !

HIS will is absolute and perfect !
