Why Don't We Do This More Often ?

Tonight Julie, Mikey and I took our annual trip to PF Chang's to celebrate Julie's birthday. Oh how I wish she had a birthday once a week. We had sooooooo much fun. I laughed so much I think I almost wet myself. These two together are crazy. They need a label hazardous to your health or toxic waste on their foreheads.

The three of us have been thru so much together the bonds of friendship just get tighter and tighter. Julie was Bo's first Nannie. He was sooooo in love with her. She would come to the house and take care of him in the summer and take him to to pool with her cool cute friends. He loved being a part of that.

He would be surprised to see her now, fish face and all, she is still beautiful.


We have been thru Julies Dad's health issues and her personal kids problems, Mikey's Uncle's health issues, his death, Mikey's job changes and they have been there for me thru all of my ups and downs. True friends who stay together no matter what.

God brings people into your life for a reason and only HE knows the final piece of the puzzle. Who knew that all those years ago when Julie was Bo's nannie she would later come to work with me at the clinic. GOD did ! Who knew that Mikey would come to work at the clinic, leave and we would remain friends forever - GOD did !

I remember when Mike's uncle was in the hospital in Rogers - D and I went to see him - we didn't know him, but he was Mike's only family - Mike is important to us, so on Saturday, date day, we loaded up and went to see Mike's uncle. The man had amazing stories to tell, we fell in love with him immediately. Just like Mikey we became instant friends, instant connection - who knew - GOD did !

GOD knows everything - GOD knew that these three people needed each other in their lives for HIS purpose - HE placed them at just the right place, in just the right time, for just the right reasons and just the right thing happened - HAPPINESS & JOY !!!!

Tonight when I say my prayers of thanksgiving, I will be sure to thank GOD for Julie and Mikey, for the laughter, the love, the friendship, the tears, the treasures of their hearts, the peace of knowing GOD placed them in my life for HIS purpose and the excitement of watching HIS will unfold.
