The Jackson family is on vacation this week. Off to Galveston for fun in the sun and adventure. They are having a super time and it's the thing that family's do. Before they left, I took prestamped, preaddressed envelopes over so I would be sure and get mail. It's a habit I have that whenever D and I were gone, I would always mail the boys a card or letter everyday. Just trying to teach them early that I enjoy it as much as they do.
So far, so good, but I guess today I must say was the best. Yesterdays was cute, Jill had written something funny from Carter Dean
, a little inside joke that he and his Tata share.
But today was the heartstring, today I got a card from my "E" man - Jill said he wrote it himself - the PS was the kicker straight to the heart - how does a 9 year old boy feel so deep and know just what you need to hear. He wrote "No matter if together or not I'll always love you"
That's my boy !!! that's one of the blessings that GOD has given me that makes my heart burst at the seams and the joy overflow in my world. How precious are our children. They know who loves them and they know who needs to be loved.
The Bible says, GOD knew you before you were born, HE knew you while you were knit together in your mother's womb. HE knew that Ian, Carter Dean and I would be bonded together for life. What a GREAT and WONDERFUL GOD HE is to gift me such amazing and beautiful grandsons.
