The Brink of Death Have You Ever Wondered ?????

Have you ever wondered why some people are brought back from the brink of death and others get to go on to Heaven? I have many times. Have you ever wondered why some people are healed of cancer and others succumb to the disease and go on to Heaven? I have many times.

GOD never fails to surprise me even at this age and time. HE always has the answers when I need them most. I have always been told the BIBLE is the roadmap to your life and if you look long enough, read it often enough you will find a answer to every question you have. Most of my answers are found when I don't even realize I looking - it's like getting hit in the face with a major dose of reality - a brisk shot of cold air on a winter day, or that hot, hot, dry air in Las Vegas that makes you think you have walked into jet engine.(another story-another time.

I never realized how far I pushed things into the corners of little mind until GOD peels those layers aways and says "I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU !!!!" and HE gives me this wonderful gift !! In Isaiah Chapter 37 there is a beautiful story of King Hezekiah who was told by a messager of the LORD that to set his affairs in order today was the day he was going to die. GOD gave him notice, prepared him, offered him the chance to get everything in order. Hezekiah was a GODLY man and what did he do, he turned his face to wall and prayed - AWESOME !!!!, then he broke down and wept bitterly - REAL !!!!

What did GOD do?? He gave King Hezekiah fifteen more years to his life, turned the sundial backwards ten steps - GOD changed Hezekiah's life so that Hezekiah could continue to make a difference.

King Hezekiah wrote the most beautiful poem and in it he states
LORD, your discipline is good,
for it leads to life and health.
You restore my health
and allow me to live!
Yes, this anguish was good for me,
for you have resu=cued me from death
and forgiven me all my sins.

For the dead cannot praise you:
they cannot raise their voices in praise.
Those who go down to the grave
can no longer hope in your faithfulness
Only the living can praise you
as I do today.
Each generation tells of your faithfulness to the next.

It is a beautiful story and there is much more to the poem, but what I was able to gather from the blessing GOD gave me was that Bo, Lori and David have been given their Heaven dates for GOD's purpose.

Just as HE left me behind for HIS purpose to praise HIS, worship HIM, and tell generation after generation of HIS undying love, faithfulness and forgiveness until I receive my Heaven date.
