Sitting on the sidelines watching the latest uproar unfold between who is right and who is wrong I am once again appalled at the lack of compassion and love people have for one another. Being a person of faith is a difficult walk, standing up for your Christian Faith will never be easy.
The Bible says that we will be persecuted for our beliefs, we will be hated and feared. People are being thrown in jail in a so called free society for having Bible study in their own homes. Why do people fear and hate what they don't know? Why do they persecute GOD's chosen children? How are we to respond?
We are to pray for the workers who spread the word of CHRIST, we are to offer love, forgiveness and kindness to our enemies. We are not their judges or juries.
My friends come from all walks of life, some practice many varied lifestyles. They know my beliefs are founded on Biblical principals. I love them. I do not have to accept or agree with their practices anymore than I would accept or agree with a thief or an adulterer. The Bible is specific, clear cut and precise. Those are my principles. If you chose not to live that way, okay.. but don't hate me because I do. I don't hate you because you don't. THAT IS NOT WHO GOD IS !!! If you believe this you are totally lost !
Dan Cathy has a right to run his business based on the principles that make him firmly founded in his faith. He didn't say 'I HATE GAYS AND LESBIANS !" , He said to the world exactly what the BIBLE teaches. Don't shoot the messenger !!! So he and his company are attacked why?
If this man was hungry on the street, had lost his fortune, now where to turn would a Muppet or a gay married couple feed him if they knew who he was?
If a married gay couple comes into any Chik fil la restaurant and asked Dan Cathy to serve them food do you think he would feed them?
Those are the real questions we should be asking - who is spreading the most hate here and why are we attacking each other so viciously? We have to learn to live in our own country more peacefully, to co-exist within our differences, to support our USA businesses, to stand up for Bible study in the home, to allow the freedoms our country was founded on to take root once again.
If not.......No one will be left to feed the MUPPETS !!!!!

I so agree with this...I have gay friends that I love dearly but do not agree with the life style but it is their choice. I wish they would not judge Mr. Cathy for his beliefs for I respect him standing on his beliefs. I will continue to eat at his restuarants - have always liked he closed on Sundays. Many of us do not remember but I do when there was many not open on Sundays. It is sad that we need to treat each other as we want to be treated no matter our background.
