But what does that mean to be followed by mercy and grace? To receive mercy means to receive compassion, not getting what you deserve, but having punishment withheld. Grace means getting what you don't deserve, unmerited favor.
Yes, I want mercy and grace to follow me all the days of my life. Who can give me such things? Why am I worthy of receiving mercy and grace? Well, in truth I am not ! I am one of the most unworthy creatures on this earth, but it is not because of me that I shall receive grace and mercy, it is by the blood of the LAMB that my gifts come.
Do you know that when you accept Christ as your Savior you are accepting HIM as the son of the one true living GOD. There is no other, HE is the Alpha and Omega, there is no other way to GOD accept through Christ.
Many people think that they have time to wait, they will live their lives as they see fit and disregard GOD and HIS teachings. There is plenty of time to "GET RIGHT" with GOD later. Today should have been an in the face reminder to all of those people that you never know when your time is up.
If only one person out there reads this and rethinks their acceptance of Christ that is because GOD touched your heart, not me. All you have to do is accept HIM and ask HIM to come into your heart. Be open, willing and honest, HE will do the rest.
Remember all "Christians" are a bunch of sinners, people who fail and fail over and over, but who are in constant communication with their Father striving to get it better, love differently, be more tolerant and as my dear friend Andy Farriester says "Be the Change".
You can't get to Heaven by living right, doing good and treating people well. The only way to Heaven is by accepting Jesus as your Savior.
Tonight when you lay your head on your pillow, before you close your eyes, remember if it was the last thing you did....do you chose Heaven or hell??????
The choice is yours and yes they are both real places.....GOD is love and HE is waiting for you...Good Night Sweet Friends !!!
